Ok! It is the beginning of 2019 and you want to eat healthy! Just like you did in 2018 and 2017….and maybe even 2016. It is a wonderful goal but hard to know how to achieve it! I mean, for goodness sakes, should you be eating KETO, paleo, vegetarian, or raw?? Also, how do you cook at home and still have time for everything else? Or, how do you even just cook?! Farmboy Market, Meats, & Sandwiches and Your Farm Foods have teamed up to bring you Stick a Fork in It, a series of workshops that will answer these questions and many more about eating well in 2019! Each workshop includes: -a class about food and nutrition, -a food prepping and cooking demonstration from Chef Dennis Bagnasco & -food tasting (of course). On top of that, you will take some food home with you! Our first series is “Course 1”. It will include a class about the benefits of eating chicken, the differences between, free range, organic, pasture raised, and locally sourced chicken by Certified Health Coach and Your Farm Foods owner, Kerry Bashi. Chef Dennis will show us how to take a whole chicken, break it down, cook the meat, and make bone broth to make delicious and nutritious food. You will leave there with a wealth of knowledge about the affects of chicken on your body, how to easily incorporate it into your meals, how to cook it so everyone will eat it, and where to get the best sources for the biggest bang for your buck. Be ready to learn, eat, and meet other people on similar journeys. Oh ya, and feel free to enjoy FarmBoys Happy Hour beer and wine specials they will be offering at Course 1 of Stick a Fork in It. Ticket prices are $40/ticket for “Course 1”, including fees or $100/ticket for “Course 1, 2 & 3”. Note: The topics of Course 2 & 3 will be announced January 2019. Course 2 will be on February 9th and March 9th at 2 pm.
